I don’t understand the mentality some people have about tattoos.
Overall, of course, I don’t see the attraction of getting something inked on my skin; if it’s important enough that I want it to be on me for the rest of my life, there’s a good chance it will have already made a big impact internally and thus negate the need to externally display it.
No, what I don’t understand, outside of my personal preference about tattoos, are people who just say “Hey, I want a tattoo, what should I get?” Isn’t that backwards? It’s just a recipe for disaster. I mean, if you have to actively find something to put on you forever, what’s the point? I just don’t get that approach at all.
